TESTIMONIALS

Just wanted to let you know that I have had my guitar for over a year now and have really been enjoying it. The quality of workmanship has consistently been demonstrated over this time. Thank you.

Joe (Florida)

Hi Bill and BJ,
I want to thank you both very much for a wonderful instrument! It has far exceeded my expectations. The only way to describe the sound is very rich and full. It has a certain “confidence” that my Superior does not have. I can’t wait for the sound to open up even more. This guitar was certainly worth the wait. It was a pleasure working with you both! Thanks again and I will keep in touch from time to time, though I know you both are busy!

Brad (South Carolina)

Dear BJ and Bill….. I am speechless…. Should I leave it like that? A work of art…The wait was worth it…. I am sure that I have the finest instrument of its kind… The guitar arrived this afternoon…

Bill (Italy)

Your guitar is great!! It makes my skill better and gives me special inspiration that I have never experienced before. Bob said, “Bear Creek is perfect!” Kanji, who is my friend guitar craftman said, “This Bear Creek is further better than 1920′s Kona sold at a Tokyo’s instrument shop ($6000!). Ken, you got best one!”

Ken (Japan)

I am loving the new “Grande Dulcimere” and the getting used to the two extra strings is feeling fine. Thank you so much again for making this beautiful instrument and meeting the challenges. When I sit down to play I just spend a little time marveling at how lovely it looks. And then to have it sound so grand- well it is the best.

Sam (Oregon)

Aloha, Bill and BJ, thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! The wait was long, the price was high, my expectations even higher. But it was all worth it. When I opened the case, the most beautiful musical instrument that I have ever seen was looking back at me. I just can’t get over how gorgeous this guitar is. I tuned it up to low G , got my Bob Brozman “Hawaiian Guitar” tape out and started to refresh my memory on this guitar style. It looks like you can see deep into the grain of the Koa, and the grain seems to have an almost hologram-like effect that changes as you look at it from different angles. Is this a trait of koa? I have never seen any wood do this. It’s absolutely beautiful. Love the case, too. That’s all for now. Mahalo,

Richard (North Carolina)

Hi BJ – after only 12 hours with the guitar I’ve fallen in love with it already!

Greg (Australia)

It came today and it is by far the coolest guitar I have owned! The attention to detail and the wood is spectacular! The sound is so distinct and right on. I love it! It was a pleasure to do business with you guys. This guitar will be an heirloom.

Thanks, Hal (Oklahoma)

The guitar was delivered about an hour ago. Everything is still where it should be. I could barely tear myself away from it…. sounds really beautiful. I’m just working on a version of a Scottish tune called Roslin Castle and it just sounds like magic on that guitar. I will send you both a copy of Roslin Castle when its recorded.

Alesa (Australia)

Yes, I stayed up til 2am playing Lokelani last night. I LOVE her! I agree, this is the best she’s sounded. I really love what you did with the bridge. the paua shell on it looks cool and will tie it in with the cool tuner buttons I’m getting. Same with the heart on the tail piece. I love that. The black also ties it in too. I have to say that the gold strings from Ko’olau really are the best sounding strings. When these wear out, I’ll put those on. I like sitting on the edge of the bathtub/shower and just blasting this puppy. She ROCKS and can sing a sweet lullabye so softly too.

Doug (Honolulu)

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to let you know the eagle has landed. It looks beautiful. I’m going to take it home and play it hard tonight.

Chad (Colorado)

Dear Bill and BJ
my guitar arrived and is better than I expected. The wood is so fine that you don’t miss the gloss finish and the sound is wonderful, exactly what I was looking for in a slide guitar. Thank you Bob for the Koa soundboard.
